2012 - 2013

A new year for STAC, for all of us.

Every fall I revise the STAC Code a bit, incorporating bits of new ideas, refining things. This year, we have the code and two aphorisms to provide a bit of guidance.

1. We sink or swim together;
2. We treat each other and ourselves with respect;
3. Ours is a quarrelsome venture, but we only clash over ideas;
4. You are responsible for your time, decisions, actions and outcomes;
5. We meet all challenges with Bold Optimism.

As always, Bold Optimism remains the most important concept.

Now, the aphorisms for the year are:

• If you live by when you’ll die with if;
• Talent is a flower, work is a rock;

This is good and ponderable. Do that!
