Marketing Groundwork

We're gathering information today such that we can make better decisions regarding our crowdfunding project.

Specifically, we're looking at:
1) Branding and PR ideas for STAC, and how those ideas might be implemented across all STAC related websites;
2) Various crowdsourcing options;
3) How are crowdsource marketing materials organized

Since our schedule was disrupted by the internet outage today, this has become a homework assignment of sorts. SO... this is due on Sunday:

A Crowdfunding WebTrek:
Spend about 45 minutes to do the following:
1) Look at all the links I've provided;
2) Find an interesting link on one of the webpages, click on it, and open another webpage. Find and interesting link on that page and then click on that;
3) Continue for a few layers of links. When that line fizzles out, come back up to one of the five links below and begin the process again;
4) For each link you hit, write a brief summary in which you pull out the most important points;
5) Put this all together as a blog post.

I understand that this is confusing. I'll make it clearer tomorrow.

Post the following on your STAC blog:

1) A two paragraph minimum 300 word artist’s biography. Don’t be an idiot. Include a picture of yourself that that you shoot (of yourself) especially for this blogger post.

Don’t know what an artist’s biography is? Use the internet and find out.

2) At http://www.stacworld.net, the homepage post is currently a video of the song “Them Heavy People” by the singer Kate Bush. Listen to the song, watch the video and read the lyrics, etc. Find yourself in the song, find the song in you, and write another verse to the song that is your specific verse, that is about your connection to the work.
