Acting Audition

Acting: you must submit a video of you performing a one minute monologue which we are providing for you. Click here for PDF of the required monologue. It must be memorized, you cannot have a script in hand. Make sure the camera is close enough to capture your face, and the audio is clear so your voice can be heard. You must perform the monologue three different ways:

1. As if you're angry and trying to get someone to leave you alone;
2. As if you want someone to feel sorry for you;
3. As if it was a comedy - play it for laughs.

Each monologue must be one take, but you can do a different take for each way you perform it.

Slate the beginning of the audition video by saying your name and grade.

Your finished audition video starts with your slate, then one take of each different performance of the monologue - nothing more than that, and it should last about 3 minutes.
